IHL's
International Hydrolytic Institute (IHI) will be the focal point of almost
exclusively marketing driven operations. Indeed, IHI's showcase facilities,
state-of-the-art equipment, and a highly experienced professional staff will
provide IHL with the following marketing support capabilities: dedicated
in-house teams to support generic AHC sample preparation, U.S.
government-funded programs, and geographic AHC product development functions;
new employee, licensee, and sublicensee training; AHC technology transfer and
management; AHC technology quality control and improvement; AHC product
engineering; AHC prototype development, testing, and certification; AHC
handbooks, brochures, and video/multimedia cassettes; and AHC patent
disclosures or applications. In general, this in-depth level of comprehensive
marketing support will not only attract (and retain) as-required additions to
IHL's technical staff but also facilitate IHL's overall business, e.g.,
commercial enterprises with technology-oriented businesses, alliances with universities
or industrial consortium groups, etc..
The
IHL conference center will eventually be equipped for on-site teleconferencing
and videoconferencing to provide a complete range of special purpose marketing
facilities. These facilities include: video production center; multimedia
communications center; computer aided design center; computer-generated
graphics, printing, and binding publications center; training and technology
transfer center; market research center; automated language translation center;
and expanded technical and market research libraries.
When
fully operational, the IHI will consist of 18 separate laboratories or shops
for the primary purpose of supporting marketing and business development needs.
These separate facilities, by function, include: chemistry laboratory;
medical/biomedical laboratory; refractory products laboratory; waste products
development laboratory; wood products laboratory; plastics laboratory; regrinds
laboratory; minerals laboratory; marketing demonstration laboratory; generic
samples preparation laboratory; slag laboratory; structural test laboratory;
fire test laboratory; electrical test laboratory; spray booth; sample finishing
shop; sample packaging and shipping shop; clean room; and a mobile AHC
demonstration laboratory.
